The other firms recognized in our category were corporate tax and payroll providers, so with a very different focus, and we are proud to once again be recognized over our competitors who were also shortlisted for the award.
This year also saw the Trump Tax Reform come into effect, and while many expats weren’t affected, many of those with foreign registered businesses were caught up in the wider so-called ‘Apple Tax’ net. As the entire expat tax prep industry rushed to discern the best way forward for these expats affected by the new rules, we kept our calm and in partnership with leading expat specialist tax attorneys delivered what we believe to be the most tax efficient strategy going forward.
